It’s been another incredible ADE for the legendary David Guetta, filled with headline sets and awards.
He received the huge accolade of being named number one in 1001Tracklists’ Top 101 Producers of 2019 ranking. This award, based purely on data, reflects the cumulative amount of unique DJ support for tracks played this year. It means that across the year so far, he has featured more times in more sets listed on the site than any other producer. It’s an incredible feat, showing his continued relevance in today’s fast-changing dance music scene.
What’s more, he was also named the world’s third favorite DJ by voters in the DJ Mag Top 100, announced at the huge AMF event. He made a video earlier in the month promising his fans that he would skydive if he reached the top 3, so expect to see him jumping out of a plane some time soon! He topped it off with an immense set at the event at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on the Saturday night of ADE.
Guetta played three sets across the festival, with a hotly-anticipated Jack Back set for Beatport at the stunning A’DAM Tower on Friday night, followed by a massive back-to-back-to-back with Martin Garrix and Tiësto at Garrix’s 18+ show at the RAI the same night.
Meanwhile, he’s preparing another big release before the end of the year, following on from huge releases like ‘Never Be Alone’ and ‘Thing For You’. With two months left of 2019, you can still expect plenty more from David Guetta.
