Following their debut in 2019, two EPs, songs like “Witte Was” and “Mijn Stad,” and, most of all, a rock-solid reputation for giving outstanding live shows, 2020 appeared to be the breakthrough year for pop sensation Goldband. The three plasterers went into quarantine together to write off their sorrows after a worldwide pandemic disrupted a fully booked festival summer. They were all across radio and TV with new songs like “De Wereld” and “Tweede Kamer,” and managed to stay on top of people’s mind despite everything. Their long-awaited debut album will be released in August 2021, and with shows planned at DGTL, Down The Rabbit Hole, Zeezout, and more, 2021 finally seems to be the year for Goldband.
