Julian Jordan crafts a glorious dance/pop anthem alongside SMBDY on Need You

Julian Jordan’s dedication to perfection continues in strong fashion with his latest brilliant track. The dance/pop stylings of Need You feature powerful vocals from SMBDY, and this new release makes a great addition to his recent string of dancefloor smashes. His fourth release in just five months, it’s once again another example of him staying true to his favourite sounds.
Listen to ‘Need You’ here
Filtered deep house stab chords ring a sorrowful tone over reverb-heavy bass and crispy handclaps before the beautifully layered and chorused vocals glide in over chugging 4/4 kick drums. The cute chorus lifts the track towards the sweet, melancholy lead melody, punctuated with big drum hits and rasping, electro-tinged bass. The uncluttered arrangement and slow tempo really let all elements breathe to the max, and combined with razor-sharp production, infectious melody and quality songwriting, it makes for an irresistible package. The mellow outro leaves you wanting more and heading straight for that ‘replay’ button.
The last few months have seen Jordan bombard the dancefloor with hot tracks like Never Tired Of You and Tell Me The Truth, and none more so than Martin Garrix collaboration Glitch which was climbing the charts fast and is very well received. With his sound becoming ever more impressive and catering both for the dancefloors and the airwaves, he looks set to dominate 2019 in a big way.
