Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.
Since 2007 I release each and every year a Yearmix, these mixes contains my own productions/remixes and all of the tracks that I played most in my DJ sets that year. I do this for my fans and for own archiving, like said earlier I’ve been donig this since 2007 so I now have 11 years of music that I can go back to. When listening to one of the Yearmixes, I feel like I enter that year all over again. When people listen to it they hear loads of music they probably already forgot about, I mean these days there’s so many music being released. I help them out a bit, by selecting the best ones.
Q2. How was last year? What was the best experience of 2017?
2017 has been a very good year, I got into the creative process of producing again. Made loads of new music, also dropped an EP together w/ Wantigga, Jengi and Jaël called ‘Les Demoisselles D’Avignon’. You should really keep an eye-out on these guys, we’re already working on the next special project which will be a Japan inspired EP. As your country an it’s ever evolving music scene is super inspiring. Between the four of us is a special chemistry which ends up with us producing fire tracks. What made 2017 the best year yet, is knowing that I’m about to become a father!
Q3. What are your resolutions for 2018?
Don’t think too much, just follow your spirit and do it! That’s what helps me finishing my music.
